Operation Honeybee is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Northern Colorado. We bring neighbors together to stand with and support immigrant families through mutual aid, storytelling, and public education.
We believe immigrants and asylum seekers deserve dignity, safety, and a community that stands with them. Through storytelling, mutual aid, public education, and direct assistance, we help families navigate challenges and restore what has been taken from them. Like the honeybee, none of us can build the hive alone, but through collective action we are strong enough to heal, restore, and protect.

Educate and Advocate
We shine a light on what is happening to immigrant families in our community and help the public understand their constitutional right to due process. Through storytelling, social media, and plain-language explainers, we turn awareness into action.

Mobilize the Hive
One honeybee brings in a twelfth of a teaspoon of honey. A whole hive brings in a hundred pounds. We organize ordinary people to lift where they can.

How you can help:
Fundraising and Donor Relations
Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community supporters.
Organize fundraising efforts to support qualifying families with rent, food, transportation, healthcare, and legitimate legal expenses.
Coordinate donations of food, clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, household essentials, phones, and other necessities.
Keep donors informed about the impact of their contributions while protecting each family’s privacy.
Help families locate food, clothing, safe housing, healthcare, transportation, childcare, schools, and other essential services.
Provide personalized resource navigation and follow up until families successfully connect with appropriate support.
Provide interpretation assistance or connect families with qualified interpreters and translated materials.
Help families prepare emergency contacts, childcare plans, medication lists, document packets, and other practical safety plans.
Distribute essential supplies and coordinate transportation or other direct assistance.
Help families remain connected, informed, and supported when a loved one is detained.
